I'm Mark Hagler. Cloud, telecom, and platform operations, with a focus on reliability, security, governance, and AI-enabled automation.

The day job

I lead platform, cloud, and technical operations teams that keep large-scale services reliable, secure, and cost-effective. I came up through telecom and service-provider networks: VoIP, SIP, SS7, IMS. That depth is why I can talk risk, cost, and strategy at the executive level and, a few minutes later, dig into packet captures with engineers.

A big part of my work is governance: helping companies make better decisions about cloud, security, vendors, and now AI, so the messy technical environments end up understandable and manageable.

Consulting

I also do consulting through Arizona Meta Company: telecom, VoIP, AI automation, and compliance.

Origin story

Farm in the middle of Nebraska. UNIX at 14. Never left.
